Sidney Yankson founded GCP Foundation in September 2012. He graduated from Durham University majoring in Physics then later studied law at UCL, Boston University School of Law and the University of Hong Kong.
Sidney has been travelling to many parts of Africa for over tree decades and has a strong passion to give something back.
Having his familial roots in Ghana inspired Sidney to provide renewable energy solutions to those living in the off-grid lighting areas across Africa. Sidney hopes GCP Foundation’s programmes will encourage sustainability, education and development, as well as replacing the use of kerosene lamps and candles.
